A theme worth dressing for
Pajamas in December. A full family reunion in July. Every Jam has a world to step into, a dress code worth playing with, and a poster worth keeping.
Pasadena roots. Everybody's invited.
A little music. A little mischief. A whole lot of community. Themed parties and gatherings that turn strangers into the JAMily.
Next up: Pajammy Jam, December 12, Los Angeles. Pajamas encouraged.
The next Jam
Until the jar opens.
How a Jam works
Pajamas in December. A full family reunion in July. Every Jam has a world to step into, a dress code worth playing with, and a poster worth keeping.
DJs spinning the songs everybody actually knows. Real food on the table. Dominoes, card games, and lawn games for the competitive cousins. Bring your own bottle, we handle the rest.
That is the whole business model. Low pressure, everybody invited, nobody standing in a corner. You come once, you are JAMily forever.
The archive
The first big picnic. Live DJ, BBQ and soft drinks provided, lawn games, dominoes and card games under the gingham. Bring your own bottle, blankets and lawn chairs.
An indoor party with a dance floor, a DJ spinning 90s R&B and early 2000s hip hop, a live emcee, free entry, and an open bar for the first two hours. Casual attire, serious dancing.
The community
The JAMily is everybody who has ever pulled up: Pasadena natives, first timers, the dominoes champions, the plus ones who became regulars. Tag @blackberryyjam to land on the wall.

Before you ask
Yes, most Jams are BYOB. The poster for each event says exactly what is included, whether that is food, soft drinks, or an open bar window, and what to bring yourself.
Jams are adult-focused gatherings. Kids are welcome at daytime events like the JAMily Reunion, but they are not the intended audience, and nighttime Jams like Pajammy Jam are for the grown folks.
Whatever the theme says. Pajamas for Pajammy Jam, casual for Dusty Vinyl, picnic best for the Reunion. When in doubt, the poster has the dress code on it.
That is the dream. Reach out on Instagram at @blackberryyjam and tell us the occasion. Themed birthdays, reunions and brand nights are all on the table.
